I. Performance and Uses

Reverse osmosis membrane antiscalant MPS0100 is a highly efficient antiscalant suitable for reverse osmosis (RO) systems, as well as nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems. It prevents scaling on membrane surfaces, improves water production and quality, and reduces operating costs. It can be used with reverse osmosis membranes and TFC membranes from Dow Chemical (Dow Filmtec), Hydranautics, domestic brands, and nanofiltration membrane elements.

Product features:

(1) Effectively controls inorganic scaling over a wide concentration range; the maximum LSI allowed without acid addition is 2.8;

(2) Does not form insoluble precipitates with iron and aluminum oxides or silicon compounds;

(3) Particularly effective in controlling iron, aluminum, and heavy metal contaminants; the allowable iron concentration on the feed side can reach 8.0 mg/L;

(4) Effectively inhibits silica polymerization and deposition; the SiO2 concentration on the concentrate side can reach 290 mg/L;

The dosing amount is determined based on a comprehensive water quality analysis report and the conditions of the reverse osmosis system. The general dosing amount is 3-5 mg/L. Within the recommended dosage range, it can control most types of scaling, including calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, iron hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, and silica.

IV. Packaging

Packaged in white plastic barrels. The standard solution is 5 gallons (20 kg) per barrel. Each barrel of concentrate is 5 gallons (27.55 kg), which is equivalent to 220.4 kg of standard solution after an 8X dilution.
